Sustainability and reducing environmental impact are at the heart of everything we do. By reusing and redistributing gently worn clothing, we help keep textiles out of landfills and reduce the demand for fast fashion, which often harms the planet through pollution and excessive resource use.
ABOUT US
At TEEN THREADS, we are dedicated to providing clothing and essential items to families and young people in need. Every young person deserves to feel confident and comfortable in what they wear. Our mission is to ensure that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to clean, pre-loved and seasonal clothing as well as toiletries. We aim to support young people through some of their most important years, helping them show up to school, social events, and everyday life with dignity and pride.

At TEEN THREADS, we believe every young person deserves to thrive—no matter their circumstances. Based in Barnet and Hertfordshire, we provide quality, pre-loved clothing and essentials to those experiencing hardship, helping to restore dignity, confidence, and comfort during difficult times.
We support:
* Young people aged 10–18
* Care leavers and young people with additional needs up to age 25
* Families living in poverty
* Refugees and asylum seekers
* Families escaping domestic abuse
* Those facing homelessness or recovering from crises like house fires or floods
By passing on pre-loved items from one individual to another, we create a cycle of community care—ensuring that every young person has what they need to feel seen, valued, and supported.

MAKE A REFERAL
We accept self referrals and referrals from professionals such as social workers, teachers or support workers.
Collect a pre-packed bundle. A member of staff will pre-pack the items that have been requested ready for you to collect. Please ensure you have a suitable method of transportation for getting your items home. Individuals often leave with several large bags of items.
